Time signature changes not saving

I'm trying to record a song with a many time changes "Blackened" by Temallica. It seems when I reopen the file, all of the time changes revert back to 4/4, (once happened in the middle of working on it as well). Is there something In a menu somewhere that needs to be set, or is it a bug? I wish I had my Roland VS-880 back.
 
My projects save timesettings and tempos. What Cakewalk program are you using?
 
Pro Audio 9, wich leads me to believe I should probably upgrade?
I run it on Pentium 3 533mghz, 383mb RAM. Could I run Sonar without a prob?

Tempos seem to save.
