I got a credit card b, and I did this all over the phone, I told the guy to hook me up and give me a good deal and make it well worth my time so i can make some money selling cds. stop assuming shit kid.

If you don't want to spend any money, record, say, 30 sec of silence before your song is to start on the session. Then put some sort of marker, like a drum hit, where the song will begin, and make sure your monitor is in sight from your booth. Since you'll be looking, rather than listening, for the beginning (that is, where the drum hit shows up in Track 1) you can even mute the sound on that track so it doesn't distract you or bleed into something else. Then hit record, head for the booth, and boogie.

If your baby sister goes to school then she is old enough to push the button for you. maybe get her involved. Who knows maybe she has talent and can sing. If you are all she has then spend time with her.
