Is it possible to bookmark a thread? There is a ton of great info in threads that has gotten buried and I'd like to have access to it without having to search it out over and over again, and I'd prefer not to have to print it all out. If this isn't possible, I'd like to suggest it for future implementation in the forum. Thanks!

put a folder on your desk top...then click "File" in the top/left area of your window..point to "send" in the drop down, then click on "shortcut to desk top"...then cut and past the shortcut on your desk top, into the folder on your desk top...then all ya gotta do, is open that folder, and click on which ever post/thread you want to re read etc..
ot just leave the shortcut on your desk top..

I keep everything I see that's good info in word documents, just copy and paste it in there. You never know when something may be deleted, disappear, and just vanish from the web. It happens.

And that way you can have everything nice and organized in a document that you can pull out when ever you need it.

If simple bookmarking is enough for you, just go to the thread--the URL shown once you've opened the topic can then be bookmarked and clicking on the link will take you straight to the thread. For example, this topic is https://homerecording.com/bbs/general-discussions/newbies/thread-tools-335801/

If you want an individual post, click on the number at the top right of that post (for example, on Capt Hair's post it says "#3") and the link shown then will take you directly to the post you want if you bookmark it.

You must absorb all you read here into your collective consciousness. Become one with the recording world.
