Thrash metal band demo - give it a chance?

So I know this board is a home to people from all genres and demographics. It'd be awesome if you could just give this a second and check it out, even if you aren't a metal fan. This is my band, "Hell I Feel," and this is our 3 track demo (99% done...) we are going to submit to nuclear blast pretty soon. I contributed vocals, left rhythm guitars, some lead parts, and recorded/mixed the whole thing. Although we are predominantly thrash, we are heavily influenced by bands like In Flames, Children of Bodom, and Arch Enemy.

I'd love any feedback - songwriting, mixing, etc. Lay it on me! As always, thanks for listening!

Some known issues:
-For Getting Away lacks some bottom-end.
-rhythm guitars are a bit muddy on Paranoic Mind

Tried to give it a listen but internet explorer says can't display webpage for all 3 songs. You're better off using lightning.mp3. It's free to post and will use media player to play the songs.

I like that!

A suggerstion:
At 1:31 a bigger section comes in. The bass is still playing short-duration notes, which underwhelms the intended power-up, I think. More sustain, maybe, to kick it up?

At 1:50, the bass plays a unison line with the guits...a pedaled bass note, like at 2:10 would lay things down, and boost the energy, I think.

That's my only nit...sometimes the bass is a little frantic, and it robs strength. The second half improves.

Good work!
