Thoughts On My New Video

I had posted our first video for thoughts and advice here. Thanks to all who offered insight and comments. Here's our latest that we dropped yesterday. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I struggled with the two distinct 'looks' - the flipping between them was sort of a bit awkward in my head. The things that stood out were a few things perhaps I didn't understand - at just before 1:00 there's a shaking of the camera, or an effect - either way it looked like a mistake that wasn't fixed, while I suspect it was deliberate? The big thing for me was the aesthetic. Her skin tone in a lot of shots was a nasty yellow - but then in others, the blown out white look. The band look (bar the sickly yellow) I quite liked, but the swap to the domestic 'set' with panelled walls and soft stuff seemed a bit strange. The feel of the band as a whole, was a sort of hardness, but the curled up bits sort of spoiled the band's harder image. Can't comment on the audio - not my cup of tee, but it sounded typical of that kind of genre.

The overblown crushed whites were a bit much in places and the swap from white face to yellow face was a stand out for me. For me, the end was a bit 'oh dear, what can we do to end this....' It sort of stopped, not ended. Does this help in any way?

Helps immensely...any insights and opinion will help me on the next production. The camera shaking was left in because we just liked the look of it and it added some "movement" to that section. This was my first attempt at the blown out or high key look so only up from here. Thanks for your opinion.

Absolutely take it as non-art comment. In my entire career I have not understood art at all - but I do struggle with getting whites right in studios. Keyboards are always a pain - the white notes suddenly become one constant white, yet other parts of the image are under exposed. When you go for the white overblown look, faces are a pain - as in your more 'arty' look or just basic illumination!
