........or
4 V30s

Someone, I can't remember who, makes a 2x12 cabinet with 1 V30 and 1 Greenback in it. It's supposed to sound very nice. Marshall also puts two different Celestions in their DSL 2x12 combos. I would imagine that doing it in a 4x12 cab would also result in a nice sound.

WAIT!!!!

OK. I am buds with a guy who is a Boogie Rep. He said that he heard from someone at Boogie that the rectifier cabs were intended to come with the Custom 90 speakers, and that the customers should be informed of this AFTER they purchase them.

I am going for the exact same tone your after, and what I did was get my cab loaded (at no extra charge!) with 4 Custom 90 speakers. I own a new Triple Rectifier. I have tried the exact cabs with all of the speakers you listed above, including actually, a mesa half-back with Vintage 30's in the bottom, and Custom 90's in the top. It sounds like ass. Seriously, I thought that it would rule, but NO.

The Custom 90's have the exact tone that you are describing...I promise you. And the 4x12 will then have a power handling of 360 watts. My amp rules, and so should yours. Let me know what your thinking. I wish everyone could just hear/feel what I am raving about.
