1st off, KUDOS to BBS and all the rest that hav esomethin 2 do with this very informational site! I've found so much 411 here in 72 hours, than i have in any other form, family, friend, or foe, in the last 15 years! No exaggeration! I have went through so many diff. sites, peeps, etc 2 find the answer 2 my questions, and i finally think i found the way! WWWWWOOOOOWWWWW!!!
ill ride all u guyz' "gonads" more later,(u all deserve it), but 4 now, please excuze me, i have a LOT of questionz. 1) im using an AKG 2000 as my mic, an alesis studio 32 thatz connected to my layla from the 32's direct outs, and my layla routed back to my 32's tape ins 4 monitoring. (If someone knowz, or is familiar with theze pieces, and know im hooking it up wrong, just lemme know;THANX) Now here is the problem: When I record my vocals in multitrack view for cep, i can here other existing tracks that i have recorded earlier, bleeding through the vocal wave i just recorded.(in waveform view, even!) Is this a connection prob., maybe my routing, or where im plugging my layla in my mixer is causing some sort of attempt on one or the otherz behalf to try and record itself as it playz? I just hope this question doesnt seem as ignorant to your eyes and it seems to mines. ;) im running late 4 work so i have to go! I'll finish my other questions later. (oh yeah; and my "cajones" riding as well.) lol! :D

Welcome to the site, both of you.

I'm Change, nice to meet you.

Please check the sticky at the top of the forum called "When track 1 records on to track 2" and if that doesn't solve your problem, let us know. We'll disect it from there.
