Computer!
M-audio delta 66
Yamaha MG10/2 Mixer
MXL 990 condensor mic

and other random mics (shure beta58, sm57 etc.)

I'm using adobe audition. I haven't recorded anything yet. How would you set this all up, for recording a band, one instrument at a time? Drums, guitar, bass, and finally vocals. I can use up to 6 mics on the drums but will probably only use 4, since I don't have preamps but for 4. What kind of sound might I be able to get with this, and does anyone else use anything similar?

What exactly are you getting at? Do you not know how to set it up at all or what?

Microphone > Mixer > Delta 66 > Computer

There are any number of ways you could do all the specifics, you've got to be more specific.
You could also read countless threads on micing guitars, bass, drums and vocals. Surely you're not looking for all of that sort of information right here...

You could potentially get a great sound with that stuff if you know what you're doing.
I use a Delta 66 and Delta 44. I'm quite happy with the sound I get. Sure, I could get something better but I still have alot of room to improve what I am actually capable of before I start thinking I've gotta have better gear.

yeah

I am gonna mess with it tonight when I get home. I am just trying to figure out how I will connect..

Mics to mixer, mixer to delta 66. which device would the monitoring come from? the outs on the mixer or the m-audio. I have read the manual and alot of articles and I think have a pretty decent idea of how it will all go together.

the main thing I am concerned with is being able to use 4 mics on drums and have each mic on a seperate track. I'm guessing I can do this with the gear I have.

www.tweakheadz.com read the guide it extremely informative and should teach you most of what you need to know to get started.

read it

thats how I decided what to buy.

I wish it was more "blunt" if I can use that term. but you can't ask for that as every setup will be different.
