a little bit too easy for most of you but I've looked real hard and havnt came up with too many solid ways.

any suggestions/websites on what I can do to make under $30 baffles, maybe some real cheap homemade panels for the walls in my basement. I get a way above average sound from the walls/carpeting without treatment but I'd consider experiment(with little to no money) trying to get better sounds.

thanks alot guys.

Have a look at the "DIY Broadband Absorbers" link in my signature. These have work very well indeed for me, working over a much larger bandwidth than I thought they would. They are also fairly easy and cheap to build, provided your a tiny bit capable in building stuff and willing to invest a weekend over it.

Also check out a thread on www.gearslutz.com called "my broadband absorbers" or something to that effect, which is where I got the basis of my design from.

Don't be tempted to go for really thin solutions like acoustic foam tile, as although these seem like a "cheap and cheerful" solution they will eventually lead to a load of bass build-up in your room if you don't add extra treatment for the low-end.
