I don't know why i didn't ask this question a while ago but here it goes:
When I play back my tracks after recording on multitrack on Cool Edit Pro, they always stop playing when the end of the screen comes. Meaning i have to move the green bar on the top of the screen. Also, sometimes (actually most of the time) it stops playing in the middle. then i got to press play again. The only way around this that I know of is to have to highlight all the tracks manually (just clicking on the tracks to make them brightly colored doesn't work) or i have to record a blank track while listening. does anyone know how to fix this. Are there pre-sets or options under settings, I couldnt find one that seemed to relate. Thanks
Oh yah, can someone explain "buffering" to me, if its not to hard. Thanks

p.s- read my new post under "Microphones"

Near the bottom of the Multitrack View, between the play/record buttons and the track counter, there are six yellow buttons. After I finish recording a track, I click on the upper right yellow button, and the screen fills with the entire track, beginning to end. Then it'll play clear through without stopping.

Dunno bout buffering.

Yeah. I wish they'd fix that--it'd be great when you've REALLY zoomed in. Something else I'd like to see--multitrack spectral view. COOL! (also let you know what parts are mash-potatoeing the other parts).

yoyo, if you click the "PLAY TO END" button instead of the ordinary "PLAY" button, it will, ironically, play to the end... (past the end of the screen)

xoxoxo

Yep yep. Play to end is the button that has a play sign inside a circle I do believe. The normal play button is basically worthless.
