Maybe not quite a bargain.

If I read that listing correctly, it only the ATR main unit, it's missing the record arming/synch unit and cables without which it is basically dead in the water.

Just saw your response in an email notification lmao.

For anyone wondering what is missing, take a look at the last pics in Ghost's "Tascam Wallpapers" thread......it shows the optional AQ-65 Remote Auto-locator and under that is the missing arming unit.

Now that ATR could be a good deal IF the heads are OK.

Both the RC-65C Remote Control Unit (in that auction) and the AQ-65 Auto Locator were optional extras. IMHO, the AQ-65 is the preferable unit to have as it does everything the RC-65C does and then some.

I have a mate with an ATR60-16 sitting idle and have occasionally been trying to convince him to "store" it in our studio so I can have a matched pair :D
