I am usually not one to bitch, and I know that there have been posts on this before BUT!!!!

Doesnt it kinda piss you off when someone posts their music here and we all sing their praises and they post some more and again we tell them its good, and yet they never give anything back to anyone elses posts. This is not a requirement to post your stuff on here but it is common courtesy. If you have the time to post your stuff, you have the time to listen to a couple of things and just lend your ears to it.

Now I just listen to them because they're usually good... but I don't bother to tell him..

personally, I'd like to see some 'heavy hitters'.... On the rare occasions, they might put something up (but they're a lot who don't post mp3's....hhhmmm), and people will flock to them like flies on s___, but you don't usually see them in the response catagories... Too busy, I guess. A pat on the back is better than nothing...

Well hell, if I spent any time recording stuff I wouldn't be able to keep up with the board.

Actually, it does seem like I have time to listen to other people's stuff or record my own but not both. What to do; what to do?
I know! I'll quit my day job and depend on all of you, my friends, to see me through.

I go in streaks. When I am busy in the studio, or writing, I am obviously not responding to MP3 posts. I do religiously listen to a bunch of stuff at least once a week and sometimes more. As I've mentioned before, if someone really wants my opinion on a song and I have not given one, PM me. I'll make the time. I usually seek out those who who comment on my posts too as a matter of first choice. But if I fail, its nothing personal. It just means I got caught up in something weird--like working, writing or recording. You know, my hobbies!

Lt. Bob is right though, you can't be everywhere at once.

I know what you mean though. I try to make an effort to listen to as much in the clinic as I can. It would be nice especially for folks with two posts that come in and put up 13 tunes for review to recipricate.

you got it track rat, thats what I am talkin about. I noticed that theron brought this point up to one of the younger posters on here who has gotten a lot of attention lately. I think that participation is one of the great things about this board. I have found that if you give some comments to anothers work, they will come back and give your stuff a listen when it is time. Thanks to all the regulars here!!!
Oh yeah, one more point... after someone reviews your stuff DONT just reply by with "thanks you rock!!" just to keep your friggin thread going!!! Have something to say or shut up!!!

It would be nice to see some more 'heavy hitters' commenting, but I don't really care about them as much as I used to..
