used mostly for recording, occasional jamming.

i just want a few good cleans, and a few good distortions. anyone try this Tech 21 product?

yeah, i would get the trademark 10, but it's 100 bucks more than either option.

what was your experience with the tri- a.c.? did you record with it, or have it front of an amp?

weve recorded scratch tracks with it, they didnt sound bad. and we did them direct. it still has that direct sound to it though, doesnt really have the full tone straight into board. i would still stick it infront of an amp just to get a bigger sound. it sorta has the vibe of the sans amp, minus the cabinet modeling, but its programable, if i remember correctly.

I have the Trademark 10 and got it for a reasonable price on TAWTCBN (the auction website that cannot be named). If you need a practice amp anyway you might as well get the TM10. If you have a suitable amp already go with the Tri A.C.

I don't know much about the Behringer V-AMP. Check out harmony-central.com for reviews; it looks like the Tri A.C. is worth the $.

I use to have a V-amp. I now have the Trademark 10.

The V-amp can be noisy. It's got some neat cleans and distortion sounds if you steer away from the presets. It's not too bad of a unit for the price.

I use to have the GT2 sansamp. I didn't like it at all. I really like the Trademark 10 is great though.
