OK......The note is there, it's just buried in the mix. If you're happy with the solo where it is...........then lock it in. :) I would leave it where it is Ed, maybe bring the intro note up a tad in the mix and see if you like it like that. I think what may have been throwing a few people off is that the first note of the solo that they are hearing isn't the root note of the scale I used.

not sure if i jumped in too late.........if this was a done mix or not.....

all the drums, bass guitar, and acoustic guitars are perfect.....dont change a thing there.

the main vocals........it sounds a bit of weird...... like your using Antares Auto Tune, but its pulling the vocals out of tune? kinda a chorus'y/phasey slow pitch bending is happening or something....

See my above post!
Ahhhh, I get it now.. I can boost it a bit and see how it falls in. That note starts as the vocals end...

I can't sing worth a shit, and I haven't used anything on the vocals other than a bit of compression and some reverb. I know I can't sing, and I refuse to fake it. I am not sure why you are hearing a chorus/phasey slow pitch bending thing... I really don't. I am sure if I used some sort of autotune on this, it wouldn't sound like it does...
