In my quest to trade off or sell anything that I haven't used for a while, I think I have come to the end of my search. Here's the last things to get rid of.

Tascam Portastudio 424 MKII. 4 track casette recorder. This was what I started recording on. It's been used, but everything still works well. I transfered some old tapes I had done to PC and all was well. If you have tapes, or a friend who wants to get into recording the hard way :)

Audio Technica Brand X wireless guitar unit. I had lost this by putting it in a box of stuff just after I had bought it I thought it had been lifted actually!). It's like brand new, I used it twice. transmitter, receiver, cable, power adapter, all in a hard plastic case.

Dod Acous-Tec acoustic guitar processor. It's a floor unit, with lots of settings all for acoustic guitar. It was a very nice unit when I bought it, but I just dont use it any more. It has scuffs and scratches on it all over somehow, but pedals and jacks are excellent.

Shure BG 4.1 small diaphragm condensor. With original padded leather-like case. Still smells new. I got it in a trade and never used it.

Fender Squier Pro-Tone Telecaster. This is the only Squier I have seen in Vintage Guitar. It is transparent red on ash with gold hardware and a maple neck with big jumbo frets. It's got natural color body binding and a white pearloid pickguard. It's also a thinline, with the little "F-hole" on the front, and has a string-thru-body bridge. The guitar is in great condition, no scratches or nicks anywhere, the gold hw is a little faded around the edges, the way gold does, and there's only slight playing wear. My girlfriend doesn't want me to sell it because she thinks it's my prettiest guitar. It plays very well, too...and actually stays in tune, I almost stole the tuners for one of my strats, but they're gold, and I didn't :). A guitar exactly like this one (same color and everything) just sold on Ebay for over $400. I was shocked, obviousally people think it's a good one. S/N 6126564 A Fender strap and some new sets of strings will come with it.

I'm looking for a few things..... JoeMeek stuff, Studio Projects mics, an Art TPS or DPS, an RNC, a MOTU 828, rackmount Antares Autotune, 3 or 4 series Taylor guitars, a DBX 376...thats all I can think of. I don't really NEED anything in my studio at home, so you never know! I am, as always, going to make great deals for my HR.com friends who want to deal, and if you happen to have something I listed here, I'll make an AWESOME deal! ;)

Thanks!

This is a very poor picture of the Telecaster (not mine, but exactly the same). Sorry, I dont have a camera at hand.

RNC

Well, I've got an RNC that I don't use much, and that looks like a sweet Tele, but I'm wary of trading for a guitar I haven't played. Tell me more about it and what you want in trade...

Let's see..

I have the guitar sitting in my lap as I'm typing this message. I was on the fenderforum last night poking around, and the Pro Tone Squiers are in VERY high regard around there. The neck is very clean, lots of time the maple fretboard gets dirty, but it looks new on this one (mainly because the guy who owned this guitar before me had it in his studio and was not a guitar player). The frets are great, no flat spots I can find, and no wear I can find either. They look like new. There is just a hint of darkening around the edges of the fretboard, like most maple necks do over time.

As far as playing...it plays like the Tele I used to have. It has that strong Tele sound, no mistaking it. With the thinline, you get more sustain than on a fully solid Telecaster. The knobs and switch are not at all noisy and are very tight. When I got this guitar, I completely disassembled and cleaned everything. Since it had not been used much in the past few years, it had dust buildup and that was about it. FYI, I completely disassemble every Fender guitar I get, to check neck and pot dates, and to check up on the wiring. The neck date is Jan 97 and the body date is Feb 97. The wiring on this guitar looked great, and the pots and wiring were the same grade as on my Strats.

If I make a deal with anyone here, I'll give you the opportunity to un-do the exchange if you decide you hate the guitar. But I think anyone would like it, if you like Tele's.

Sounds interesting. What do you want for it, and are you interested in the RNC?

Yes, I'm interested in the RNC.... though I'd have a tough time with just an even trade for it. Got anything else laying around? :) I'm pretty easy, ask anyone around here. We can work SOMETHING out, i'm sure.

Shoot me an email,

just make me an offer, I have nothing in mind, really. I tell you something else I need. One of those rack panels that you put 2 half rack units into so you can rack them. But as for the 4.1, just make me an offer. :)

Ok, I've got 5 new kittens in my basement. I'll trade you the calico for the BG4.1 and throw in the black and white one to cover shipping. ;)

Seriously, though. I'll get back to you today with an offer. email me at yatahay@hotmail.com so I can reply with an offer via email.
