Taking the slow road
There'll be nice axes to try at the "6TH ANN HR.COM JAM/RECORDING/BBQ/BEER FEST !!"

August 11-13th in Andover, Connecticut!

it's very cool every year and this is year 6! check us out in the 'cave' there's always a jamfest thread or 2 or 3 or 9 and some folks have even more info than me about it. discuss... :)

oh yea, and tube amps, i played thru a couple, an old Fender and a mesa.

oh yea, and this smooth 5 string bass that took a couple of minutes to get used to, but once i did, i loved that B-string!! let me move up the neck a ways and that's way better for a guitarist b/c the frets are closer and i was really comfortable there, the only problem is that I have to get one now  :D

Hey, there it is, the guitar I played at Jamfest 5! Since then I got me a semihollow also. But mine now has a twisted neck... not sure if I'll bring it.

But I do have a cheapo acoustic that i love the sound of at the moment. no p/u, i have to try my old black tube thing in it, forgot who makes it....

well, guitars were great, but AMPS!!! some brought such awesome amps there and they were cranked up. That Fender is always great, DW's, I don't remember what one it was

Thats only about 30 minutes from my house, I would like to say id go, but i dont make plans for next week, let alone august.

Yo - this'll be adding to the noise in August. I'll let ya know when the ebony tailpiece is installed and then we can all fight for the brass "W". Loser gets it... :D

This is turning out to be a way cool guitar - a modest laminated thing, but it is set up nicely - plays like butter and sounds like a cutaway jazz box of all things.....

it's getting closer, we'll remind you when it's a week away! :)

if you see my sig pic, i'm on drums - That's the kind of fun you have at jamfest, you play whatever you suck at for a couple of minutes, or longer if you're decent at it and longer if you're good at it, but not much longer if you're great at it.

That 5-string bass Mr.Q is jammin on was our first 5-string and we fell in love with the darn thing, it was a good one. So guess what, now, we both own one of our own!!
