If I used 2 different 1/4 cables, like 1 monster 1 mogami, 1 for the right , 1 for the left, would it produce a chorusing effect (arent some cables a ms ahead of each other )?I just noticed I bought 25 Mogami and Monster cables together instead of 26...

I doubt it....

Sound does not travel through air at the same speed as an electrical current travels through a cable...

So I don't think the 1 extra foot of cable will do what your expecting.

Nope. You won't notice a thing. Nothing in any plain cable can cause enough delay for you to notice. You won't even notice the delay if you use different length cables. It's like will said, signals travel much faster in cable.

A 1 foot cable length won't make a difference. If you are talking about different brands of cable being faster than others, who ever told you that is a liar or just plain stupid. Electricity travels through copper at the same speed no matter who stamps their name on the insulation.

Ha, ha. Pert near the speed of light, dude. For a millisecond delay, you'd need about 186 miles of cable length difference.

A **really** slow cable will allow a signal to propagate at only 80% of the speed of light. If you have a 3' (let's call it a meter) cable that transmits at the speed of light, and another that is 6' (let's call that 2 meters) long that can only muster 80% (Radio Shack, no doubt), the delay will be about .0011 sec. If you can hear chorusing effects from that, change your medication.

I get about 3 picoseconds per meter, 3 billionths of a second.

I thought we were going for zero latency...

Impossible. It takes six milliseconds for the sound to get from your monitors to your ears.

So my monitors should be 6 feet away?

They should be surgically implanted in your cranium.

How much does that operation cost?

Do they have budget implants?

What's the best implant for 300.00? :D

Analog or digital?

The problem with analog is that the tubes get hot, which can be uncomortable.

I'm looking for some good used implants.

The best used vintage implants can be, well, ummm...

Do you know any coroners, undertakers, or medical examiners?
