Murmuring growls
Fiendishly waiting
As valor grays, such are the days
For the wolves of fading

No recompense for ruthless nature
Repute is no savior
Reconcile the call of the wild

Recall winter's howling inspiration
And a rise above station
Glory is such a short sweet story

Drooling, pacing
Hesitating
Death is near to the smell of fear
For the wolves of fading

The promise of bloody benevolence
And a short lived reverence
Highlights a warriors plight

The pack heralds its merciless alpha
And sings to Valhalla
An ode to a paladin soul

One last ferocious snarl
Throat gaping
Mighty splendor shamefully surrenders
To the wolves of fading

Excellent production and powerful vocals ! I Really liked the short breakdowns and guitar changes. The backing female vocals were nice ..
On the suggestion side .. I think the only thing I would tweek, would be the amount of detuning chorus on a few of the guitar passages.

That's actually a strange detuned keyboard effect with lots of reverb in the background.
I kinda' like it!
But I'm weird that way:geek:
 
The guitar could maybe be pushed back and the vocals pulled forward a little, not a lot in it.
Are they the virtual backing lady singers you've engaged?
 
I really like your guitar tone on the main guitar, agree maybe it can pull back during the vocals (vocals are excellent) would like to hear the guitar solo a.little more up front as well, that main guitar part maybe a little to up front during that part as well? Listening on headphones and had a hard time picking up bass guitar...very cool drum parts as well...love the lyrics, great song!!
