There is a lot about guitars and amps that is subjective, and opinions rule in that case.

There is also a lot about 'em that is objective fact. Offering an opinion and being corrected is part of the learning process, and I have been corrected numerous times about some of my own preconceptions. A stubborn, willful adherence to an incorrect opinion about an established fact is frankly puzzling to me.

yeah, like i said, i haven't read anything that VP has posted so i won't address that at all, i was just mentioning that a person's opinion of something can't be proven wrong.
