Cool, trust some of these other guys about recording/mixing tips but from a general listening point of view I think you have a very workable song. I can't quite nail it down but something about it stirred something in me. The mix/arraingement can still use a little fine tuning but the song has that "get under your skin" quality. I don't care what some of the others said, I like the vocals, in fact who is she and can i borrow her sometime, I've got a couple of songs her voice would "put the iceing on the cake."
 
Wow guys, thanks for all the advice. I definitly see where you guys are going, it is pretty boring. I told the band i was giong to do a partial rewrite and they looked at me like i was crazy.

I've listened to it quite a few times over the past few days and I think I now like it just the way it is. It certainly cought me (as a listener) the first time I heard it and I still can't get it out of my head. I can't wait to see what you do with it. The vocals performance is phonomenal, so if you do change anything, it should be subtle in the instrumental area.
