Skrimshank were formed in November '03 by Pez (poetry) and Damo (beats/sequences/production) with the main aim of making original, sample-free tunes with mad-ass unique lyricism. You wont hear the Shank talking about their hoes,bitches or uzi's because firstly they're lacking in both and secondly, they've got other things on their minds!
Skrimshank don't use computers for anything other than getting their music to the masses. With the addition of Grayman (guitars/song) to the line-up in June '04, Skrimshank have broken even newer ground, and go on setting the standards for the rest of the pack! The tracks to date are the product of months worth of Friday night sessions and this has led to their raw, trademark sound! You get what they give and just when you think you've got them sussed, they pop up with something fresh to blow you away!
