Its been a while since i got back into writing/recording due to school and other things.
But now i am back into it and this is my first track recorded since then.

The vocals in the beginning had too much of a "room" sound for my taste in this genre. The beat sounds great. I think it fits quite well. The synth pads seem a bit low-fi. Anyway to make em' more spacious and/or full? The main vocal sound is a bit dull, too. Like it was recorded from a somewhat lower-quality mic, maybe?

The song itself, I found quite enjoyable. If possible, post the whole thing. It always sucks when I like a song, and it ends half-way through.

Yes it is a cheap mic!!
Luckily today im getting a legit mic
And i can record again today and see if it is any better.
What do you mean by roomy sound? I was recording in my closet haha.

It just sounds like it was recorded in a badly treated room, and you can hear the room. Reverb can produce that effect, even in a perfect vocal booth. Congrats on getting a new mic!
