Alright we did a song back in september. This one we did this week. It's sloppy, and played too fast, but whatever. The choruses don't sound great. But I like the way the verses and break turned out. Tell me what you think

The vocals are all low and low mids. You need to try bumping 4 to 5k on the vocals by 3db to start, probly will need more. Pull some 250hz and add some 15k also. That should get some of the mud off of them. I personally can't understand a word in the song.....

On a good note the song sounds cool and I want to hear it better;)
If your running effects on the vocals back them off until you get a understandable sound out of them and then add them back in later.

I really can't tell what you have going on there. Never heard anything quite like it.

Like I said sounds like a cool song and I want to hear the next mix:D I won't comment on anything but the vocals for now. I couldn't really get past them.

Just my opinion. If that's the sound you're going for more power to ya.

thanks for the response. I only added compression to the vocals and light reverb to vocals. I guess since I was there whiel they were tracked the words are louder in my head.

I don't think it's a question of louder, but of sibilance and presence.
And ya your head can fool you when you know the words.
Take a step back and listen with a critical ear as to weather or not anyone else can understand the words.

Anyway I look forward to hearing it again if you plan or are able to do more work on it.
