Hey guys... just wanted to say thanks a lot before I let this thread disappear. It's actually been pretty helpful in knowing what people are able to make out in this type of vocal. I'll be making some more detailed adjustments for sure, especially in that second verse. I can hear how it seems like they fall back in level. I suspect it has something to do with the entry of that stereo rhythm guitar.

Thanks again!

A fantastic piece...

You've created a monster! I totally remember listening to this way back when, but it seems to sound better today then it did then.

Maybe it is just retrospective of how much time has passed since the events that took place that made you write this in the first place.

I love all of the instrumentation and the arrangement you put on this. I know you said this was a bit influenced by Floyd, but have you ever listened to Peter Gabriel's album called "Passion"? It is the soundtrack to Last Temptation of Christ...this song kind of reminded me of some of the stuff on that album with all of the textures you have on there. Anyway, I highly recommend the album if you haven't heard it ...

Love the tune! :)

Everything was excellent. I would add about +4db at 5 K on the main vocal with a slightly narrow Q. It would pop that vocal right out of the fray. If you just bring up the volume you may run into lo mid issues.

Really enjoyed this.

Sluice.

I have just discovered your music over the last few days.
All I can say is it brilliant.
I downloaded all your tunes from Nowhere radio.
And I am listening to the disk that I burned right now.

your use of shade and light in your music is just fabulous.
Reminds me of Porcupine tree, meets Floyd, Meets Queensrhyce.

Fantastic stuff.

Keep up the great work.

Lee.

I'm really paying attention to vocal tracking recently, you get a nice clean tone. Intro is way cool.

This had your usual awesome sound to it but the lead parts (vocal and guitar) didn't sit quite as well for me as other stuff of yours.

I liked the haunting mystical sound overall and that sitar type thingy in the background.

No mix comments here

Just wanted to say that this is quite good, and is in regular rotation in iTunes here.

Hey Tom.....
.....My stay in the salt mine was a little longer than I thought it would be:D
Very nice man!! Great tune!!! Definitely CD worthy.
I like the pad alot in this.... the constant droning works nicely in the tune.
Nice vocs indeed. .....very dynamic, yet not too obvious in stereo location...... I like that.
I like the verby lead guits. ...they might be just a touch too verby (tailwise) in spots though, but that may be totally preference.....there might be a little lead guitar pitch discrepancy at 3:56.

Very very nice bro!!!!!!!!!!
