.....every guitarist/bass player who's been around a while has had that "one" guitar that they sold for rent money, etc. Mine was a '63 jazz bass that i sold for 1250.00 back in the early nineties..... .....dont mean to open old wounds, but its theraputic to share......:(

the one that got away that I DON'T want back was a BC Rich something or the other I bought in HS. sounded like poop, played like poop, broke strings like crazy.... but hey, it looked cool for doing those Motley Crue covers.

A white early seventies SG. Sold it for 200 freakin dollars.

Thanks for the memories Guernica!;)

Sold my 89' USA ibanez maxxas to buy a gibson baby explorer, which did not turn out as a very good idea. I have a picture of the ibanez on my refrigerator........memories.....................

My dad sold his Gibson SG at some point while he was in college. I wasn't even concieved when the transaction took place, and it still pains me. To think I could have had a genuine vintage SG in the house to learn on! He wishes he hadn't sold it, as well.

1956 Les Paul Custom.

Sold in 1981 to build a self-designed 'Super-Strat'
Oh well!

Mine was a Penco SG copy... my first guitar.

That thing was sweeeeeet!
Gorgeous binding, Mother of Pearl inlay on the neck, and two sssssmokin' DiMarzio humbuckers.

If I could track down another one I'd scoop it up in a second, but I've searched for the past 3 years and can't find anything closer than a Les Paul copy and a few acoustics as far as "Penco" guitars go.

Damn! :(

I'd pay a finders fee to the person who can find me one.... FOR REAL!!!!
Added bonus-bucks for a natural finish!!!

Sell my guitars!?! Never! Sometimes I talk about it, but I'd never really sell any of them.

I've had some of my first ones stolen, but they were all junk anyway.
