Wow, i was just thinking of how important mics are to our world. If there was no mics, then there would be no phone, if there was no phone, there would be no phone lines, if there were no phone lines, there would be no internet, if there was no internet, we wouldn't be talking right now.

Actually, the telephone came before mics! Alexander Graham Bell invented it in 1876...
