Hey looking for critique on the mix of my latest track "THE NEW WAR" it's basicaly a stright forward Rock/Metal tune, didn't want it too pretty or polished sounding, wanted more attitude and grit. All comments welcome mix related or not... THANX

This is pretty good. You've got good guitar and vocal tone for what you're going for.

A little 'verb on the lead vox probably wouldn't hurt. Not necessarily required, but it could help, especially on that big scream before the solo.

Something's "flappy" in the bass end of things. I'm not sure if that's the bass guitar or the kick drum, but I'd recommend adjusting that a bit.

Kick and snare could maybe come up a touch to help drive things a little more, but your mileage may vary.

Pretty solid overall tho.
