Is there any Cardbus adapter available for laptop recording?
 
I was kinda looking at the Gina 3G, but the more I think about it, the additional inputs of the Layla would certainly be worth it.

I kind of doubt they will do another cardbus adapter, actually, because of their new firewire stuff coming out soon.

In fact I might wait entirely to see how their firewire stuff is, so I can make a decision from there.

FW stuff would be cool, because then I could use it with my laptop. If they do a Layla firewire, that'd be extremely cool.
 
I'm wondering what's in store for the future too!

I thought we'd be seeing maybe a PCI-Express card from them(?). I have to admit that I love their stuff but they don't seem to have a proactive design team looking to be the "first" out with cutting edge technology.

PCI Express just isn't necessary for audio, I think. You really don't need that kind of bandwidth for audio.
