the lost preset...help!

Greetings-
I cannot locate an effect preset on my Cool Edit 2!
I've been using a preset which says "vocal compresser(excellent!)"- something close to that...
Can't seem to find it now.
Anyone who can tell me where to look for that??

I found something called 'vocal crossover'. Is that it?

yeh the same thing has happened to me

after reinstalling cep after a reformat some of the compressor settings had disappeared

It's the strangest thing. I've used it a bunch of times and all the sudden, I'm not even sure what category it's under.
I thaught it was "dynamics"...
