Could it be that the VTP-1 is just another low-end preamp marketed with the tube-hype-mania in mind ???

I'd wait for the RNMP; at least it doesn't have 'cheap tube gear' written all over it'

Is the C1 just another low end shlocky mic? I dont think so. Although the tube drive feature makes it look like this pre belongs in a rack with entry level art, behringer and dbx pres, Im thinking that they proved the everyone wrong with the C1 and maybe theyll do the same with the VTP-1.

Seems cheap enough. Who's 1st? Hopefully someone that has a decent selection to compare it to. Hopefully its better than I expect it to be, that would be cool.
