Okay so I'm toying with the idea of getting a Laney LC-15. All tube 15 watt combo amp. I'd just use it for personal practicing. I don't play clean at all. I use a lot of gain in my tone.
So I'm on Harmony Central reading reviews on this amp and many people are complaining about reliability. I guess the heat from the tubes rises upwards and melts the circuit board? Not good.
So does anyone here own one of these amps? Do you like it? Any problems so far? What does it sound like? I really love the Marshall sound myself and I may end up waiting for the release of the Class 5 but was wondering what a Laney amp sounds like.
