Ya I'll participate in some small faction, whatever's needed. I'm hoping the timing doesn't inerfere too much with the challenge, but squeezing off a chorus vocal or something shouldn't too taxing.

When ever I think of these "we are the world" tunes all I can picture is Neil singing "somehow our innocence is lo...ost"

What the hell? I've got the vocal range of a doorbell, but whatever key it's in I'm sure I can find a note or two to work with. Trying to coordinate a key that works for 50 people sounds a little nuts. I say, we just do it in a key that's good for all *instruments* (like Bb, maybe?) & let the singers deal with it.
But whichever way it goes, this sounds too out there for me not to be a part of it.

Hey Dobro--its gonna be a challenge for sure. If it sounds like Buy The World A Coke, I'll commit hari kari! Twisted and beautiful? I'm not promising anything! The key to something like this is to find a style that lends itself to some diverse talents, you know? I have faith that it will be great, though. "If you write it...they will come". I dunno--I keep hearing voices! Between writing this, the HRC4 challenge and a couple of other unfinished things on my plate, this might not be ready for a bit. I will bump this thread or start a second when the time comes.
