suffice it to say, my hopes to get a real singer on this song have come to no avail - so i decided to come up with somethin on my own -- DO NOT MEASURE THIS UP TO REAL SINGING - CUZ IM NOT ONE - but i figured if 50 and nelly can harmonize - so cna i !!!! --

this is one verse from a song u may have heard - for the husltel magic comp. should i keep or kill this hook?

Dude, you know better than to stress whether your harmonizing sounds good or not. As many people who can't sing, out there makin' it in hip hop(R&B too,quietly).....I couldn't really understand what the background was sayin'. If you can clear it up a little you should be good. I say roll with it.

im a try to turn it up -- im sayin "more time more time more time is all i need"

I can't sing that well either but knowing how to mess with your vocals make up for it a little bit. I'll post the newest track I got on Soundclick (when I get permission)

word - im tryin to find one of those vocoder plugins that will work with vegas 4 (direct x) on a pc computer -- ???

that sounds good to me. i mean it does the job for the song. it gives me the same vibe as The Lost Boys when ever Mr. Cheeks would harmonize. that really brought the song out fam, i'm liking this. beatmakers did his thing on the track also. man, if you could get a female singing that hook in the same octave as the female singing Jay Z's "Feeling It" man, that would really set it off. yo, did you redo the verses? for some reason i'm feeling it more.

yeah i started re doin the verses - im still lookin for a female - but at this point, i have to wait for teh school semesters to start up again, to try n find someone else!!!

fresh from a funeral . . . sad as it is to consider a person's demise (timely or otherwise) i met two people that want to sing . . . so now im back on the grind tryin to get them in to the studio . . . .

any tips on recording female vocals? i hope to get them in here after the new year's comes in . . i know they aint grindin like that - to try n do some shit this weekend
