wow. that was sad. the guy in the white shirt started off allright i suppose but definately rookie at the end. There was a link at the end of that vid though (it says 'worlds best freestyler'), a guy named jin, who seems pretty damn talented. glad i found it, ima look for some of his tracks on limewire. i like his style.

You don't know who jin is?

this was obviously a open mic battle contest because there is no way they would waste camera footage on either of these cats.

Jin is pretty good at freestyling...he made an album which flopped though. I heard some of his tracks and he isn't very good...he should stick to freestyling.

LOL...that dude reminds me of this african dude that I work with....cool dude but you can't understand shit he says when he's worked up. I know that was posted in humor but busta headlice could eat that dude for lunch and probably end up even with the other dude. Any one of us more experienced would rip them both even if it was 2 on 1.

Now about Jin...whatever happened to him? I heard a few ill tracks when he was with Ruff Ryders but then he just vanished like a ninja (no pun intended).

Wait...found out on wikipedia (i love that site!). He's still ill with words though.

Fie.

That goes for many rappers............

I, and I'm sure many of you guys, have friends who are sick with the freestyle and can't write Jack (or Jill)...........And vice versa, there are those who can put a pen and a pad to work!

Jin's freestyle ability was impressive to me! Quick wit, identifying flaws, and alot of practice can make a freestyler ill. My boy practices freestyling while riding in the car and I have heard him resort to using the freestyle he came up for a future battle, especially if he likes it.
But he refrains from using the same line in battles, unless he's telling someone the line he used to burn another cat!
I think freestyling is a lost art!

I can only do it good when I'm inebriated :) I agree Trizz that it IS a lost art, but so are decent skills.

well somebody tell JIN that i have NOOOO PROBLEMS ghost writing for him!!! hell i will make him . . . more famous than THEM DAMM FREESTYLES DID!!!

OH - THIS RAP BATTLE SUCKED! AND I DONT EVEN DO RAP BATTLES (ANYMORE)
