A friend and I wanted to try writing recording a long, multi part song like the prog epics back in the day bands like Yes, Genesis, ELP etc... was a lot of fun, not sure if it worked, but definitely met the "long" criteria . Used my new IBG Epihone 59 Les Paul for guitars, bass guitar was a squire classic 70s vibe P-Bass, synth is Epiphone thru boss sy-1 and a ehx mel 9 , and string 9. Acoustic guitars are my old Line 6 Variax 500. Spoken word is a free online text to speech creator, drums and percussion are arranged from various betamonkee drum loops. All guitars and Bass guitar thru Line6 Pod Go.

The track is fun! There seems to be a lot of midrange buildup in the guitars to where they get muddy and lost in the mix.

Yes that was pretty ambitious. Hat's off to the writing department. Very nice.

Performances were awesome.

I wasn't a big fan of the vocal effects. The stereo stuff bouncing back and forth made them hard to pick out. The delays did too.

I liked the synth/phaser stuff that bounced back and forth. That was cool and used appropriately.

The bass had much too strong of a low end.

The guitars had a ton of gain. They could use just a bit more bit. They were a bit muffled.

Drums were OK except the cymbals. They were a bit hyped in the high end.

I'm being too critical. It was a cool set of tunes - it was really more than just a single song. I'm just offering thought on how it might be improved.
