does anyone know what the faint uses? its a band by the way.

I'm not 100% sure what they use, but live, I saw a nord lead among some other's I couldn't figure out.

As far as the sounds go, you should be able to recreate them pretty easily with any sort of analog modeling synth.

Great band, by the way.

That band rocks!

I believe their producer Mike Mogis has a lot of old synths.

The Nords do seem to be pretty popular these days. I saw a live performance where the Postal Service was using them.

Maybe something old like a Sequential Circuits Prophet-5 on the albums...things like that. Definitely some Moogs.

I don't know much about the band, but there was just a thing on them in Keyboard in their "Spotlight". I think it's in the January issue.

It sounds like they use a lot of different analog boards, they specifically mention liking the SuperNova 2 and Nord Lead. They also sample all kinds of things and use a lot of "found" sounds so I don't know if it's going to be easy to copy their sounds.
