I don't know who I am
Maybe that's for the best
But one day I'll remember
That day maybe something will beat in my chest
And I don't care who you are
You're not worth my time
But one day I will see you
That day, the planets will align

And I will fall into the ocean
Break through the core of the earth
Realize it's nothing what they say it is
But instead it is much worse
It's filled with anger and regret
Of those who never made use of them
I've found some of my own
Now it's time to let them go

I will waste the day away
Till everything is bleak and gray
And I can no longer see blue
Now the atmosphere is in my shoes
And I will take it's pain away
With thoughts that over-bare this hurricane
Redirecting it to me
To make me fall just like the trees

And I will fall into the ocean
Break through the core of the earth
Realize it's nothing what they say it is
But instead it is much worse
It's filled with anger and regret
Of those who never made use of them
I've found some of my own
Now it's time to let them go

There are two things I really like about this set of lyrics, and they are:

The title: "The day I fell through the earth";

and this line: "now the atmosphere is in my shoes".

That line reflects what I was hoping for from the title, i.e. a surrealistic expression of a theme.

Now . . . if you can take the lyrics and twisted them to incorporate the originality of the title and that line, I would be quite excited!
