EVERYONE HERE>>>>I been all droppin my bombtrax in the MP#MIXING CLINICS heavier dark UNDERGROUND shi*T with my bros there but we were talkin dark chords so I wanted to know what vote YOU GUYS THINK IS OR TELLME A DIFFERENT ONE.

Depends.

If you drop tune the guitar to D, then definately D minor. That's more like the Seattle sound.
If the guitar is in standard tuning then history tells us E minor- that's more the death metal and thrash.

Of course, if you have a G being played by the bass under the E minor it will suddenly sound happier. Same thing with F and D minor. If you really want something to sound dark, brooding, and aweful have the guitar paying an Emi and the bass playing something like a Bb. Or D and Ab.

Music isn't as simple as your question. It really depends on the overall song and how it flows together. IF you're just playing one chord you don't really have anything.

D-minor is the only chord I ever use. All those other chords are only so-so.

I think e-minor is a good dark chord. But what's really fun to do is play with lots of e-minors and then throw in a d-major for that over-the-top melodramatic sound.
 
I think a D-Miner is one of the highly armored vehicles that rides of mines and detonates them without taking damage.

I don't recommend playing a guitar that someone shit on. Especially if it is dark.

By the way, D Minor is the saddest of all keys.
