"The Brick" owners...

If you DI a bass or fender rhodes, is the Instrument Thru signal the same as the output cable from the instrument before it hits the brick or is it modified by the preamp in the brick. So if you took the cable from the thru and put it in an amp is it the same signal as if the instrument were connected directly?

It is an unaffected signal to send to an amp input.
