Nice, sitting on the porch feel to this. Sounds like it could use a banjo at some point.

Not bad for a quick demo...there were a few spots where the drums sounded a little bit off, but overall this was pleasant to listen to.

:)

Hey I remember you--"Carry my love, to my baby by the wind"--that was you right? One of the best songs I've heard here-Can you repost it??? What was it called??? Hey this sounds pretty good bro-tough to tell without bass-you know bass is what glues it all together-and your excellent voice of course...Nice to hear real drums!!!

hey James, how the hell you play the damn 6 string with that BBPH stretched over it. Very nice my friend. And it's great to hear the real drums.

BBPH=Big Butt Panty Hose

Thanks guys"

Well actually i can't take any credit for this other than helping the boys along far enough to start developing an ear for music...
my son Kevin(Shad) just turned 20 is playing my old flat top,,and C.J. (Delmar) 16 is on drums...they started learning about 11 months ago, Kevin usually plays bass for me....they came up with this and recorded it own their own,,, "the rascals"

boydrj

a banjo, bass and mabe even a touch of dobro...
C.J. still drifts a little on drums, but we're use to it LOL! on stage we drift with him" Sometime my eyes get pretty big when i feel the lyrics tightening up to needle point but i have a ball with them lol'
thanks for the nice reply:)

Strato!!!!!!

Wow!! cause me to fall out with such a compliment!
Fallin' Star is the song you're thinking of,,it's one of the songs we're playing at the Songwriters Festival at the Loretta Lynn Ranch next month.. Bet i'll have big eyes then LOL! I'll try to repost it as soon as we get our final cut on it..

dtbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

i was only holding my drawers that time LOL!!!!
I got tired of that "tic tac" drum program we tried to use" i about developed a tic working with it! the thing made my ears tremble just to hear it" I'd rather have less perfect live drums than "sichy thang as that"
always great to hear from you friend :) thanks much
