In England you cannot have anything other than a shaver socket in a bathroom. Irrespective of protection. A mains socket is banned. DIY and amateurs can do house wiring and repairs APART from bathrooms and kitchens where there is water. Even a qualified electrician needs a special extra permission and membership to do bathrooms and kitchens ! With 240 of those pesky volts and water they don’t want the body count to rise
 
What the hell? Is that, is that flip flops that float? Float and insulate too, ain't that just somethin'.
Yup, my wife has a pair of those multi-function foam flip flops. In this case used as a floatation device and power strip holder. What could possibly go wrong?

Which begs the question: how may drunks does it take to run power to an electric griddle in the middle of an inflatable pool?
