HEY!!! Much better, actually. Vocal's way too loud, but it actually sounds like a human this time, lol. I'm assuming some of the phasiness is from the lofi stream of the mp3. Bass sounds like mush and/or just an extension of the guitars, but besides the vocal, it's pretty balanced to my amateur ears.
You'll probably catch some hell for this, because you seem to crave it

Agreed. Jess, you've done a good job here. Keep the improvements up! You sound more confident singing, especially on track two where you sing up an octave and a crying baby annoys the shit out of me.

That said, you play hard rock guitar very well as I hear it, crisp fast runs, expressive stuff.
But the song feels very 'front-loaded' with all the lyrics happening then, and then the banging begins till the end. No resolution in terms of a 'pay-off' vocally.

i agree, things are taking a step 'north' in the weird and wonderful world of jesse....
the music sounds like youve actually tried this time. not as mushy and crushed together. the vocals are too loud tho. they could sit back in the mix a bit so they sound more like part of the song.
but i think its a much better effort. maybe you took the criticism on board after all?
