im very new AT RECORDING THE DRUMS, I WONDER WHEN I RECORD THE DRUMS HOW WOULD MY REVERB, MID TREBLE, BASS SETING SHOULD BE, ALSO IS THERE ANY OTHER EFFECTS U CAN PUT ON THE DRUMS? OH YEH DO I PUT THE EFFECTS ON WHEN IM RECORDING OR WHEN THE RECORDING IS FINSIHED DO I ADD THE EFECTS, I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT ANY OF THIS SHIT, PLZ HELP

when your mixing try filtering the reverb down a bit. if you listern to real reverb it won't be as bright as the source. also filter the bass (80hz ish) to avoid the muddiness. put this reverb on the whole submix of the kit, the compress a submix of the reverb return, and origional drum submix quite subtley.

this is just a way that can work with some kits.
