The best piano sounds?

Hi,

I have the Yamaha P80 and I am very happy with it; good grand piano and jazz piano settings and real, weighted piano-feel keys. Now, the 80 was discontinued in favor of the P90, which is said to have even better samples, so these two you should think about too,

Best,

CC

The NanoPiano arrived in good condition and it does exactly what I want for live work.

There is one program, Acoustic #3 that sounds really great. Most of the other pianos are darker or somewhat subdued. #3 is a favorite. #1 and #2 are the same program, but moved up the scale by an octave or two respectively.

The harpsichord sound is very believable. The trippy stuff is fun to play with, and could be used on some particular cover tunes such as No Doubt: I'm Just a Girl.

Overall, I'm entirely pleased with the NP for live work, when driven from my Hammond XK2.

I also scored a NanoSynth for a try at horn section stuff, but it has not yet arrived

i bought a fantom s recently on deep discount. its acoustic piano sounds aren't so hot but i bought an srx-07 expansion board that has one of my fave pianos on it.
