They are based in NY, so they are real good for the east coasters. But still good for us on the west oast.

it's funny-- i was looking at these exact same items! i noticed the ebay seller is also selling that 3 mic stereo bar that you have for 8th street

According to their website (which has been nicely "pimped out" by the way), these are now available only bundled with some of their other mics.

...according to the updated site, the K-Micros are available for $5 only until midnight tonight...after today they get the "bundled" treatment... :eek:

...I gotta say that after reading thru Karma's "Recording Tips" section on the new site, that I'm pretty impressed with the fact that microphones from the competition (AKG, Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Neumann and even an sE mic get recommendations) are included in the text...can't say that I've seen that on too many of the other manufacturers' sites...the included tips are straight forward and very useful (especially for noobies)...worth printing a copy as a reference guide :D ...check it out:

It's listed as the 12th on the product page, and I believe it will be changed on the K-Micro page soon-- this was just an oversight*.
I definitely agree on the second point-- that was suprising and cool.

*edit: i have begun to qualify many of my posts, as I will with this one with the caveat that "I may be talking out my arse here" :)

I agree if someone could be kind enough to post a few clips that would be awesome.... i have mine but am in the process of a move tomorow... it could be at least a week before i get all my gear setup again.
