2pac & Outlawz album, "Still I rise" track #6 right as the first verse comes in you can hear two very loud sneezes. It almost sounded like they meant to do it.

Nirvana, in the song Polly Said. It sounds like Kurt accidentally comes in for the last verse early. After the breakdown/bridge he starts with a little "Polly said" and then stops abruptly. He starts the verse over again in the right place after that.

Not really a mistake - most demos & other versions include the same line.

The Ohio Players - "Skin Tight" there are some punches that totally cut off the words. It sounds like "in tight"

Actually the bass is distorted as well. But that song is a classic example that the recording doesn't have to be pristine to be awesome. That arrangement is hot. And the song is a classic that spans generations.

Collective Soul's "Shine". Most of the time, they played the radio edit. It always felt a little odd like it was cross-fading between two different songs that happened to sync up pretty well.

Then, they played the full cut on the radio once and I found out why. It sounded like what happens when a band just about loses it completely and barely manages to pull things back together in time for the last few bars. I couldn't believe they let it out the door sounding like that....

All this talk of squeeky kick pedals has me wondering if that's the squeek I've always heard in Losfer Words by Iron Maiden. At least I think that's the song. On Powerslave, I think. Wish I had the CD here with me. That band rules.
