I just want to say thanks for those who answered my post. Since I am knew at this I wasnt sure how to reply directly to each one from outlook express. Also, it was pointed out to me I shouldnt post same question to more than one area, sorry bout that. As for my problem with bad recording sound results. I switched to a stereo receiver with line outs L-R and plugged the other end of the cable that goes to the pc into the line of the sound card. When I record music it sounds great while recording. But when I play it back it sucks. The option of changeing the sound card record level is greyed for some reason so I cant adjust that. I have a front panel with many plug ins for cameras, camcorders etc. one set is a " L- Audio- R Input 2 " , what is this used for? I can not find anything in the manual or in help files on its use.

There's no reason to reply to people via e-mail (outlook express).. just thank them in the channel where you started the thread.
