Just wanted to thank you for clueing me into the Beyer Soundstar MKII
dynamic microphone. Two are on the way from e-bay for $50 each(!).
There was someone who scored two for $49.00!!! on a "Buy it now".
Still a happy camper to get those!

Chris

P.S. This info was gleaned from your R.A.P. postings BTW.

You're gonna love em. Almost impossible to pop or overload them and they sound a lot like a Shure SM7. Great price by the way. Just leave one of them up at all times for scratch and very often final vocals, especially for screamers.

damn, a cheap microphone that i havent heard about.....im slacking......

Harvey,

what other applications would it be good for?...

It looks identical to a Shure SM-58, and it's an incredible studio vocal mic. Hard to get a bad sound out of it.

Unless it's used on the "American Idol" tryouts.

Thanks again,
Chris

Thanks! But no actual picture of the mic there. :(

Harvey ,
Ever used it on a dirty guitar cab? Whatcha think?
