Oh my God!
"Wow!" does not adequately convey my astonishment. What an improvement; micing my guitar amp instead of using the line out on the back of the amp! I used the crappiest mic of all time (some radio shack special), layed against the speaker. The tone on the tape actually reflects the tone of my rig. Just to let you guys know how much better it is this way, when I used the lineout, adjusting the low eq did absolutely nothing. But now all of my eq's are very responsive. I can't wait to buy a quality mic.
