I've been mulling over the decision to send out online orders on my own rather than pay a fulfillment company, but I won't bother if half my discs are going to arrive cracked. So, I want to test out some CD mailers and see how reliable they are.

Now you can all be my guinea pigs. If you're willing to help me out, I'll mail you a free CD. All you have to do is PM me your address and when it arrives tell me what condition it's in. I don't have time to wait until the album I'm working on right now is finished because I'm touring with it (starting in April) and need to have this all set up before I leave. So, it won't be my new album, but the one my old band released two years ago.

I can't do too many of these, maybe 10 or so. If you're interested let me know.

Thanks,
Peter

um...wow. I thought there would be takers on this for sure. The CD doesn't suck, I promise.

Or are people just worried about handing out information? In that case just have it sent to your neighbor!

Really guys, I thought this would be a good way to test the CD mailers. I could just find some friends, but most of them live close to me. I figured this way I could get a more widespread reflection of how they'll hold up.

I would but im in the UK (scotland) and would take ages to arrive but if u want to i will

Sure, I might as well. I don't expect to have lots of international sales, but what better way to test the durability?

PM me your info and I'll send you one.

Peter

Leave I am definitely interested ;)
let's talk! :D

wh00 h00 btw yeah for you!

sure...

go ahead and send me one. i'm always glad to take a listen to new music. i'll pm you my address.
how far is the tour taking you? coming to the northwest?
peace - jv

Yeah, we'll be in the Northwest. Eugene, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver in the spring, and we'll probably be back on the fall leg of the tour. I plan on posting the full tour schedule once it gets closer, but if you're interested, the spring section is online. Check out www.foundmagazine.com and look under the 50 state tour.

thanks, peter,
i saw that you are gonna be at the true love in sacto. kevin seconds is a friend, and a great guy. i play there when i'm in the bay area. i'm in portland, or, so maybe i can stop by powells (awesome book store, three stories high, and a whole city block), if i'm in town.
good luck - jv

Yeah, Kevin was awesome when we played their on last year's tour. True love is a great venue too. I'd love to meet folks from the site while I';m out on tour, I always enjoy putting faces to names.

Anyways, I got the mailers today, so I'll be sending all the cd's out tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for helping me out with this.

Peter

kevin seconds is a friend, and a great guy.

Is that the dude from Seven Seconds? And then he released a cd under Kevin Seconds with no bass player on the cd? That shit rocked!

One and the same. Actually, I haven't heard any of the Seven Seconds music. But Kevin is VERY cool.

Peter, your CD arrived safe and sound. So far it sounds pretty good my friend. Neither here nor there but I used to live in Ypsi and work in Saline back in the late 70's. I used to live on Washtenaw.

Still 5 of you guys I haven't heard from. Let me know how the CD fared and I'll post the results.

Thanks,
Peter
